Our museum and shop were officially opened on March 4, 2000. On hand for the occasion were visitors from Sevare, Mopti, Timbuktu, the Dogon country and officials and diplomats from Bamako, the capital. The Opening Ceremonies were so popular that we decided to make it a regular feature of Farafina Tigne. Every Sunday at 4:00 pm, we host dancers and musicians from near and far.
